I can honestly say I can feel my stomach in my chest right now, anxious and nervous doesn't even sum up how I feel writing my first ever blog post in over three years. THREE YEARS?! Where has these three years gone; I left university after a year (lets not dwell on that), went back to working in the cafe with my sister, left there to work in a call centre, returned back to the cafe six months later and here I am now. But there has always been that what if.. what if I carried on writing where would i be now? Could I have had my own column, my work published or even brought my first bmw... here's hoping. Anyways I'm back studying an online freelance journalism course and back to what I love doing the most nattering on about fashion, lifestyle and beauty. Mom Jeans Ever get them days when you don't have a clue what to wear, feel frumpy and horrible in everything. Then chaos descends in your room with the stress of your new added floor-drobe you've created as you do...

Stiletto Nails

If your a regular follower of my blog you know that I completely LOVE nails and anything to go with them; nail varnishes, acrylic nails or nail art to name but a few. Since coming home from university I finally got my nails done after 3 months without acrylic nails, it feels good to have some decent sized nails that I can try out different ideas on. But of course I love how elegant and nice they make your hands look, it may sound strange but I always think my fingers are slightly bent and having my nails done makes them seem straighter.. weird I know. When I first got my nails done they were done in the Stiletto style, which has been made famous by the likes of Rihanna and Lady Gaga. At first I was a bit scared yet excited when I had them done as they looked amazing, though they were slightly sharp, also I was worried to how I would adapt to them as it was as though I would scratch anything I came in contact with. After a few days I filed them so they werent as sharp and I found ...

Boohoo- A few presents to myself

Ever since I did my blog post on Midi dresses I've been craving and searching avidly for one, even though my bank balance is screaming at me to leave it in piece. Though the midi dresses I was really interested in were all on Boohoo, they were cheap and very on trend for this season! I'd also been looking for a crop top which I could wear for any occasion whether day or night, and one were I didn't have to buy a new bra for either. That's one thing that frustrates me, how if a top is cut before the shoulders and someone wears a bra where the straps can be seen so visibly! Enough of my ranting, here are my purchases from Boohoo yesterday:    My purchases  You even get free stickers with your parcel  I brought this dress in black so it can be worn for both day and night. Unfortunetly when I went on the website today these dresses had sold out AND they have a 50% off sale on all their dresses! I'm gutted I didnt wait a bit longer so I could...

Glittered Nails using Barry M- 'You can take my heart like a criminal'

Image
It's that time of week when I get bored again of my nails and  start to crave having my nails done! Stiletto nails look amazing and it would save me painting my nails each week if I had a nice set of beautiful perfect nails done for me. However I'm a skint student so luckily I have a variety of nail varnishes to tantalize my craving of doing my nails week in and week out. Last week I painted my nails and I wasn't to sure on them at all, I painted them half and half and of course had a glitter nail. Though the half and half nails didn't seem to look right, maybe if I had sponged the purple and nude colour together it would've gave a more ombre feel to my nails.   Hopefully you see what I mean, although I really liked my glittered nail, this gave me an idea for my nails this week.   This was my final outcome for this week, I LOVE THEM! I used Collection 2000 'Moonlight Shine ' as the base colour and Barry M 'Ruby Glitter' as the top coat...
