Digging the dungarees!

Image
The sunshine is here! Finally the weather is starting to slowly get better and I'm so excited. Summer is about the sunshine, BBQ's, being with friends and of course the copious amounts of alcohol and beer garden sessions. Though with summer must come your new summer wardrobe, que dungarees. As a child everyone used to own a pair of dungarees but with the 90's being one of the key trends for this Spring/Summer, be sure to have your pair! Whether short or long you decide, here are a few of my favourites: Nilda short denim dungarees £26.99 Miss Guided   Hillary lightweight dungarees in candy pink £19.99 Miss Guided      Light acid wash short denim dungarees £35 River Island   Black smart dungarees £40 River Island   MOTO Clean denim pini dress £36 Topshop A twist on the typical dungarees, big for this Summer. Crop Tops- a key wardrobe essential!

Image
I honestly can't believe how quick the weather changes, one minute it will be snowing the next it's raining BUT today finally it's sunny. I genuinely can't remember the last time we had such beautiful sunny weather, it's definitely long over due. But you know what that means? Summer is nearly approaching so it's time to slowly start to re-vamp that wardrobe of yours. Crop tops are making an appearance back on the high street, being teamed up with the latest Leggings/Treggings or even the on going trend of disco pants. I love wearing crop tops, although I'm very conscious of my stomach, so I always team them up with anything high waisted whether it's high waisted jeans/treggings or shorts. This gives the illusion that I'm longer than what I appear, which is always a bonus for me! Midi Dresses,"I wish nothing but the best for you too, don't forget me I beg"

Midi dresses are all the craze right now, with the typically short dresses being ditched for a more sophisticated glamour look. Being petite I thought Midi dresses would drown me and make me feel smaller than what I am, I'm 5 ft 2. Though I was very surprised that they didn't! It made my body appear longer and slimmer and even make legs look ridiculously long, which is definitely a bonus! This is a key item that you need for your wardrobe girls! Here are a few of my favourite Midi dresses online:  Dilara leather sleeve midi-dress  £16.99 MissGuided      Dolly cut out shoulders ruched side-midi-dress £18 Boohoo  Ilidia aztec print midi-dress £14.99 MissGuided   Estelle skull print cap sleeve bodycon midi-dress £15 Boohoo   Scratch graffiti midi-dress £32 Topshop   Live to ride maxi dress £25 Miss Selfridge- However this is more of a maxi dress but I still love it!     Simone geo print side split mid...

Where's my money tree?

Snowy weather reminds me of my childhood and my family, though it's a shame Southampton has only had one proper day of snow in comparison from where I'm from. My family have been out in the snow sledging, making snow men and of course the odd snowball fight that ends up with someone in tears- , which typically would've been me. But with the cold weather comes more and more internet shopping whilst snuggled in bed , well in my case anyway. H aving come back to university with two weeks to spare a day didn't pass that I didn't have a cheeky look at Topshop or Asos without being tempted to buy their whole website. Student loans have gone in at the same time that the winter sales are still on going, my overdraft is becoming more and more dented by the minute. Here are a few items that I'm seriously tempted of purchasing, it is pay day soon anyway so it wouldn't do much harm , would it? Winter Coats, Which ones are the best?

Image
It's that time of year when we're all thinking it's Christmas again, really?! I can't even remember what I did for New Years: But can anyone ?!  When shopping in our local Tesco's I came across a whole aisle of advent calendar's and item's dedicated to Christmas....it's here already. So it's time to dig out those Christmas jumpers and scarves;you know the ones your nan knitted you, even though your embarrassed to wear them they are the comfiest things known to man! Then get prepared for another very cold Christmas. I've been looking for a winter coat for a while now, but I'm so indecisive; do I want long coats or short, leather or no leather, fur or no fur?! So many decisions! Here are a few of my favourite coats I've stumbled across, make sure you get your NUS Card's and overdrafts ready... In trend for winter we have the military style style which can be seen fully within the shops, whether its from the structure of the coats or e...

Wednesday Wishlist- My top 10

Image
Well its the middle of the week, the day I hate the most as I know that instead of having a weekend of partying and spending time with my loved ones I will be running around behind a bar doing what I do best ha. Although one advantage of it being Wednesday is that tomorrow is pay day, my favourite day of the week, I haven't brought any clothes for about two weeks now, which for me is a miracle, I don't know how I've done it. So here are my top 10 items of clothing and even accessories that I am craving at the moment, and hopefully when pay day comes tomorrow I will be able to splurge my money on these beautiful items. Like every other woman I adore jewellery I cannot leave the house without having a bracelet, ring and a necklace on as I just feel plain without them. I'm an avid twitter person and I have been following Daisy Loves Jewellery for a while now and they re beautiful hand made bracelets and necklaces have been on my wish list for a long time now. Can you really get Cheap fashion?

Image
So its currently half one in the morning, yes any normally sane person would be asleep right now if they had to be up at seven, but no not me. For some reason I cannot sleep, I am a bag of nerves for my upcoming interviews for university and I have so many thoughts and ideas whizzing around my tiny little brain wanting to come out. Then I see my phone flashing, who would text me at this time? might you ask, well your wrong, its an email..... and Its Topshop. WHY OH WHY when I'm totally and utterly skint do i always seem to get more emails regarding new upcoming fashion trends (and give me false hope that i am quite popular at this time) and the latest sales. So I started to think whether i could find a cheaper alternative to high street fashion, with the same lasting time  and durability just a cheaper price tag. I'm an avid twitter goer, and the majority of places that follow me are either fashion wannabes like me or more clothes store trying to advertise and ...
