OOTW- "If I was you, I'd wanna be me too"

Image
Life is one big whirlwind right now; with working nearly 60 hour weeks, juggling coursework, stressing over coursework and trying not to spend uneccasry money on more clothes I definitely do not need (but I do need). Coffee is literally the love of my life right now- as well as Salted caramel green tea that is my life saver. But anyways back to business, last week I posted about the on trend Mom jeans and had such an overwhelming response that I hadn't expected. So this week I bring you two different styles on what to wear with them. From a retro quirky style, to a dressed up dinner date. Outfit one: The Topshop Style. A different quirky style with the Mom Jeans, I'm absolutely loving this Ivy Park bodysuit, something so simple that can be dressed up or down for any occasion.               Added with the on trend bomber jacket. Ive found these two preppy ones again from Topshop, I'm loving the bardot effect jacket on the right and the m...

Mom Jeans= Chill Jeans

I can honestly say I can feel my stomach in my chest right now, anxious and nervous doesn't even sum up how I feel writing my first ever blog post in over three years. THREE YEARS?! Where has these three years gone; I left university after a year (lets not dwell on that), went back to working in the cafe with my sister, left there to work in a call centre, returned back to the cafe six months later and here I am now. But there has always been that what if.. what if I carried on writing where would i be now? Could I have had my own column, my work published or even brought my first bmw... here's hoping. Anyways I'm back studying an online freelance journalism course and back to what I love doing the most nattering on about fashion, lifestyle and beauty. Mom Jeans Ever get them days when you don't have a clue what to wear, feel frumpy and horrible in everything. Then chaos descends in your room with the stress of your new added floor-drobe you've created as you do...

OOTW-Week 11- "Only know you love her when you let her go, and you let her go"

Image
After a few weeks of being back home it still hasn't sunk in that my first year of university is finally complete. I'm starting to feel regulated now by having a routine of work, although I miss the hustle and bustle of uni life. It's too quiet and calm whereas I'm so used to the noise and the manic spur of the moment events that occurred. I do really miss Southampton; my girls and the shopping (of course) and also the independence I had there, I'll be returning soon though sure enough. Here are my outfits of the week: Top Left : A lounging day at home I wore- Off the shoulder jumper from Hollister , Aztec print shorts from Topshop and Tights from Primark. Top Right: An evening out with the family I wore- Cord patterned blazer from Primark , Scallop vest top from Topshop and Checked treggings from Topshop . Bottom Left: My last day in Southampton I wore- Denim shirt from Primark, Skull printed vest top from Topshop , Leggings ...

OOTW-Week 10- "I need your love, I need your time"

Image
It seems the sunshine is here to stay, finger crossed- with good weather comes the excitement of summer finally beginning. Although with two more big assignments left I'm not thinking about summer just yet otherwise I'll go off on a tangent and avoid the amount of work I still have left. With only a few days now till the end of first year it's clear that summer is just round the corner for me. But before that the uni work NEEDS to be done, so maybe I should switch off Hollyoaks and continue where I left off. Here are my favourite outfits of the week: Top Left : Black off the shoulder dress worn as a top from Asos , Cross necklace from Primark , Blazer from Primark , Distressed boyfriend jeans from Primark and Brogues from New Look . Top Right : Mickey mouse crop top from Topshop , Checked treggings from Topshop and Heels from River Island . Bottom Left: Laced collared dress from Topshop Bottom Right : Black midi dress from Boohoo , Denim jacket and trainer...

OOTD- " Let the sun shine"

Image
Sunshine makes everything better; the views, peoples moods and the occasional stroll here and there. With my first year of university slowly coming to an end in 10 days (where have the past few months gone?!) the stress of the amount of work I still have to do is mentally draining me. As it's bank holiday you'd expect with this weather me to be in a beer garden with my favourites just relaxing, but instead I'll be in the library or in my room finishing off my last two units. Wish me luck, here's my outfit of the day: Denim Jacket: New Look Black Love T-shirt: Love Label Spiked Necklace: Primark Grey Treggings: Topshop Trainers: Converse Enjoy your bank holiday!

OOTW- Week 9- "We're up all night to get lucky"

With the sun shining, this month is getting better by the day. The endless shopping trips that are killing my overdraft, the drives to the seaside and my best friends 21st is stopping me from the reality of the endless uni work I have to do. Although with the 7 hour coach journey back to Southampton tomorrow maybe I will start to crack on with my uni work. Here are my outfits of the week: Top left: For a late day of uni I wore-Leopard print collar dress from Love Label , Spiked necklace from Primark, Plain black tights from Primark, Cream brogues from New Look. Top Right: For my birthday night out in Southampton I wore- Tweed playsuit from Love Label. Bottom Left : The beginning of the sunshine I wore- Aztec print dress from Primark , Cropped denim jacket from New Look , Square necklace from Urban Outfitters and All star trainers from Converse . Bottom Right : For a casual night out I wore- Lace collared dress worn as a top from Topshop, Leather shorts from Republic ...

Digging the dungarees!

The sunshine is here! Finally the weather is starting to slowly get better and I'm so excited. Summer is about the sunshine, BBQ's, being with friends and of course the copious amounts of alcohol and beer garden sessions. Though with summer must come your new summer wardrobe, que dungarees. As a child everyone used to own a pair of dungarees but with the 90's being one of the key trends for this Spring/Summer, be sure to have your pair! Whether short or long you decide, here are a few of my favourites: Nilda short denim dungarees £26.99 Miss Guided   Hillary lightweight dungarees in candy pink £19.99 Miss Guided      Light acid wash short denim dungarees £35 River Island   Black smart dungarees £40 River Island   MOTO Clean denim pini dress £36 Topshop A twist on the typical dungarees, big for this Summer. Topshop sale items; I'm sorry overdraft

Image
So it's come to that time of year when the end of season sales have started to appear, and this is the time my overdraft takes a beating. I didn't even realise that the Topshop sale started yesterday, but with delight when I strolled into the store I saw what to me was heaven, though to my bank card was pure sin. I started to pile items upon items onto my arms till I slowly started to refrain myself and only buy the items I liked the most or I had been wanting for a while. Here was my outcome:  Mickey Mouse Crop Top- £10 Patterned Denim Shorts-£25  Purple Velvet Dungarees-£25  Blue Dress £10 Grey Dress with Black Lace Collar -£18 The dress I've been wanting for ages! I've brought some nice things for the summer and items that can be worn for both day and night. I didn't do as bad as I first thought, but there are so many other items I wish I had purchased. Maybe I'll have to pop back... What do you think to the sale?

OOTD- Outfit of the day, "You could be the greatest, you could be the best"

Image
After one of my best weekends at home it was time to do the tedious long journey back to Southampton. I celebrated my 21st birthday on the Friday and my hangover is still lingering over me- I have my friends and family to thank for this with them buying me a dirty pint. I wanted to wear something comfortable for the journey but also try some of my new clothes out. Oversized Baseball Top- Topshop Spiked Necklace- Primark Blazer- Primark Leggings- Topshop Coloured Metallic Socks- Urban Outfitters All Star Trainers- Converse I love this Topshop top, its so versatile and can be worn with absolutely anything day or night! They now do it in black as well, I may have to purchase it.

One Topshop Dress, So Many Ways

Image
I wanted to try something different within this blog entry, typically I'm writing about what clothes I'm loving at the moment or my outfits of the week. Though as I love experimenting with outfits so much I thought I would do a styling post with what I would wear with a certain outfit. This is my first time in doing this so just bare with me! Hopefully you like the results, fingers crossed! I've done a dressed up and an everyday look for this outfit so you get your value for money with this dress, which is important as i'm a student. Tomorrow I will do the dressed up look for this outfit but for now here is my everyday look, enjoy! Everyday Look:   My key element is this stunning Topshop dress which I've pining after for a while now. Hopefully my sister will get the little hint after this post.     Heart Jumper: Heart Handknit Sweater By J.W. Anderson for Topshop £70   Basketball Style Cardigan: Knitted 'A' Rib ...
