Where's my money tree?

Image
Snowy weather reminds me of my childhood and my family, though it's a shame Southampton has only had one proper day of snow in comparison from where I'm from. My family have been out in the snow sledging, making snow men and of course the odd snowball fight that ends up with someone in tears- , which typically would've been me. But with the cold weather comes more and more internet shopping whilst snuggled in bed , well in my case anyway. H aving come back to university with two weeks to spare a day didn't pass that I didn't have a cheeky look at Topshop or Asos without being tempted to buy their whole website. Student loans have gone in at the same time that the winter sales are still on going, my overdraft is becoming more and more dented by the minute. Here are a few items that I'm seriously tempted of purchasing, it is pay day soon anyway so it wouldn't do much harm , would it? Winter: Time To Get Warm

Image
Sitting all snuggled up in my prison cell like uni room , dreading to leave my bed as it would be like facing the antartic, so I'll just stay here cocooned in my duvet for a little bit longer. It's getting colder day by day so it's essential that you wrap up, to keep yourself not only warm but to stop getting ill and to of course look on trend this season. Returning back up north for Christmas I've been nagged numerous times from my mum how cold it is and to ensure I do wrap up or I will be freezing. I never seem to like winter, I love the joy and happiness it brings, though I hate the coldness and how areas of your body you didn't think we get cold get freezing. Maybe it's time I start adding a few accessories to my wardrobe to not only add flair to my outfit, but to keep me as warm as a hot roasting fire would back at home. We see this winter season the arrival of the all in one hat scarf and glove set, sounds strange saying it or even writing it bu...

Winter Coats, Which ones are the best?

Image
It's that time of year when we're all thinking it's Christmas again, really?! I can't even remember what I did for New Years: But can anyone ?!  When shopping in our local Tesco's I came across a whole aisle of advent calendar's and item's dedicated to Christmas....it's here already. So it's time to dig out those Christmas jumpers and scarves;you know the ones your nan knitted you, even though your embarrassed to wear them they are the comfiest things known to man! Then get prepared for another very cold Christmas. I've been looking for a winter coat for a while now, but I'm so indecisive; do I want long coats or short, leather or no leather, fur or no fur?! So many decisions! Here are a few of my favourite coats I've stumbled across, make sure you get your NUS Card's and overdrafts ready... In trend for winter we have the military style style which can be seen fully within the shops, whether its from the structure of the coats or e...

Starting out- my first photoshoot and styling

Image
So here we go this is my first ever blog post, to say I'm nervous is an understatement, I'm so scared i will either run out of things to say, or alternatively be word vomiting pages out like there's no tomorrow. That's a nice image I've just created right there, but here we go, wish me luck. Recently I decided to do a bit of fashion styling with one of my friends Lucy to try out different looks and alternately mix and match different styles together to see the outcome. It was a very productive shoot to say the least, I decided to do the shoot outside in my back garden, as at the time it was minus ten degrees and the location I wanted (in a skate park which was fifteen minutes from my house) was gonna be quite awkward, seeing as there would be no where to get changed and we would of had an audience there. Although as my back garden is quite different from a typical garden I thought it would be okay to try it out and experiment with the variety of scenes I could ...
